Very nice articles. I couldn't believe how many models of Brownies were made over the years. Our Brownie, the Target Six-16, is from the l940's and cost $3.00. Thanks so much for sharing! I have to go check and see what model I have!

Mine is a Six-16 made from 1933 to 1941. It has a rather Art Deco front and a little slide lever for distance. We have matching Brownies! They are really quite pretty with the Art Deco front. Wouldn't it be fun to find some film and try them out? Still, I wouldn't trade my digital camera for anything!

Mine is a Six-16 made from 1933 to 1941. It has a rather Art Deco front and a little slide lever for distance. We have matching Brownies! They are really quite pretty with the Art Deco front. Wouldn't it be fun to find some film and try them out? Still, I wouldn't trade my digital camera for anything! I noticed that they made a Target Six-16 and a Six-16. I have the Six-16. Which one do you have? They are very similar in style with the art deco fronts.
