]I have all of the dolls, the house and truck. Trying to find Ike's store. No I don't play with them but would love to make some funny clips with them. I think Seth Green hosted a show or created a show using Mego dolls and he did use some of the Walton ones.
As far as writing...I would love to write like Earl but I must admit that I cannot meet his eloquent standards!

ForeverWaltons, thank you, that's nice Jeri, of course that's something to be pround of Kathy Lee, don't worry! I wasn't especially bothered by what Kronker said My daughter does not care if people know about the blanket. I never took it away like some people told me to. Glad you were not bothered. My mother always said, "some people just want to rattle your chain." I think that is a reference to shaking a dogs chain just to see if the dog gets mad.

If I remember, it was for Italian class.

So, I know that quite a few people here are writers (in fact, I think I made a thread about it!) but, I wanted to ask, how many of you are directly inspired by The Waltons? Because I certainly am! I've used my John-Boy doll in three different strips in my webcomic, and I've written two Walton fanfictions, one which I now think is rather poorly written and can be found on this forum, and another I posted elsewhere. I also find that it has encouraged me to write more about real life, and things that actully happened. How does The Waltons influence your writing? And please share any examples (if you want) Just looked at the goodnight one. It was funny. It was a play on all the goodnights. I liked it!

I was writing stories before I ever watched the waltons but I was inspired by John boy to write a novel and that's what I'm doing. I scraped my first idea about it wing about the depression and I think I'm going to wait for that idea until maybe my second book lol but I'm going to write a father and son story in the west since I know more about stuff in the west then I do about the depression right now

I enjoy writing very much, but I haven't been able to do so professionally. However, my eighth grade class year was a big one for me. I had a letter published in "TV Guide" and I had a rejection letter from Earl Hamner, Jr., himself when I tried to submit a script for "The Waltons."
