I don't wear makeup that often. My mother always said, "don't wear makeup it ruins the complexion." She also said, "don't slouch it spoils the figure." And, "don't frown or squint it will give you wrinkles." And, "don't sit in the sun it will give you brown spots." Let's not forget the other things she said, " never cross your legs, only cross your ankles." And, "never, ever go into a bar or liquor store." I think tattoos would have been on her no-no list! I think our mothers grew up in the same neck of the woods...lol Personally I am not a fan of tatoos...okay if you have to have one make it small and discrete. It will be with you for a long time and as we all know tastes and fashions change! We are not allowed to have visible tattoos at school. Some teachers have them but not where you can see them. I do love watching those tattoo rescue shows. Some of those tattoos are terrible!

My sister over plucked her eyebrows when she was young and they never grew back. She had eyebrows tattooed on and they look good. I guess it's a personal preference. I could over pluck until the cows come home......and they would still grow back! Sigh!

About 25 years ago when I went to Hong Kong for the first time, my little nephew and niece never saw hairs on someone's arm or leg or chest before.... So they called me "Mr. Hair" lol. It was an odd experience when they asked my wife if they could touch my arm and leg hairs . (They didn't speak any English at the time. Only Cantonese) I'm not that hairy for an Italian though... There are lots more hairy than I

Thank God the women did not get the hairy gene (except for eyebrows and head).

Don't know why. But still have to shave my legs. Sigh! And my hair grows really fast (especially when there is a full moon ).

Oh Andy, dear Andy....most women don't pluck out all their eyebrows. It's one of the many wonders of getting older...your eyebrows fall out and then you "paint" them on so you have eyebrows at all. Aging has so many wonderful surprises. Unless you are Italian like me. Than you sport full ones that need to be thinned! Lucky, lucky!

I don't have a tattoo. I got a henna tattoo one time. They're okay. But, sometimes people put too much tatting they're body. Doesn't look right on them. (No offense to people on here, who has tattoos)

Maybe we could try the liver cure if someone doesn't like a tattoo. Jim-Bob thought it would take his tattoo off!

This way you can try new ones all the time. Tattooes fade and blur over time as they sink into the skin. Plus, they never come off!
