We are not allowed to have visible tattoos at work. I think that is fairly common at some/many work places. We have one teacher who has tattoos on his arms and he always wears long sleeved shirts. One time a student somehow noticed a tattoo and the teacher said it was a birth mark!

no ink for me. I was driving with someone when a person covered in tattoos walked by. He said that it looks like he got in a fight with a comic book and lost. Interesting take.

I wouldn't want even the world's greatest art permanently attached to my body, so it should go without saying that I don't want any doodles, designs, cartoons, etc. there.

I don't like tattoos. It's your body if you want to get one that is your perrogative but it isn't for me. What I really don't understand is people who take it to the extreme and tattoo their whole body.

I have enough 'natural tattoos' from surgeries and injuries so I don't have any ink. I know it's popular with the younger generations and I don't have a problem with it if it's tasteful but some of them go way overboard. Carol I hope that photo was photo-shopped - geez that's over the top! It'll be interesting someday to see a lot of old people going around with all these tattoos! When I grew up tattoos were something your uncle who was in the Navy had..........

No, Awe I don't. That is a poor example of the Spanish Walk. The Spanish walk is a trained movement performed by a horse. While at a walk, as the horse raises each foreleg off the ground, it lifts the leg in an exaggerated upward and forward manner. While the Spanish walk is loosely affiliated with the field of dressage, it is more of a trick or circus movement and not included in any modern dressage tests. It is often taught to horses of the Andalusian and Lusitano breeds and is considered a part of the horse culture in Spain. The action is said to benefit the horse by helping it learn to open up its shoulder movement.[1] Here are two good example en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spanish_walk#mediaviewer/File:Spanish_walk.gif

Mr. Forever and I do not have any tattoos and we have no desire to have any. I am comfortable in my own skin with its own nature's imperfections.
I don't even wear any kind of make-up whatsoever. I don't paint my fingernails/toenails either. Mr. Forever said that was the first thing he noticed about me and was attracted to...that I didn't wear any make-up (his mother never did either). My own momma has always just worn foundation and nothing else.

I don't wear makeup that often. My mother always said, "don't wear makeup it ruins the complexion." She also said, "don't slouch it spoils the figure." And, "don't frown or squint it will give you wrinkles." And, "don't sit in the sun it will give you brown spots." Let's not forget the other things she said, " never cross your legs, only cross your ankles." And, "never, ever go into a bar or liquor store." I think tattoos would have been on her no-no list!

Can you imagine what that earlobe will look like by the time he is 65? You'll be able to pass a bowling ball through it. I think years from now when today's young people becaome senior citizens they will regret covering their bodies in ink.

I wear some makeup.I have rosacea so when I have a flare I have to cover up when I go put in public because there are rude insensitive people out there who make comments. I've had people say to me. OMG! your face is all blotchy and other such things. I now understand how my husband feels when he has a psoriasis flare. I have my ears pierced. One hole in each lobe and that's it. I can't imagine piercing anything else.LOL

I don't think I'll ever have a permanent tattoo. I can't say never, coz ya never know. I have never been interested in having any in the first 50+ years of my life.
