My heart breaks that my name isn't on that list, Kimberley. I so wish I was going going to miss you all so so much.

I know Jane and we will miss you too. I really feel for you being such a big fan of Michael Learned and you are going to miss seeing her again. I'm being optimistic though, you just haven't meet her yet. Until our paths cross again my friend, take care.

Unfortunately I can't attend the reunion this time. I am so disappointed as I would love to come to Virginia and meet Michael Learned and visit Schuyler as well. I've had a very challenging and difficult year in 2014. I have work commitments due around the same time as the reunion and family issues ongoing with both my husband's and my side of our families. My husband had to quit his job for awhile to attend to some critical legal and care issues with his father - this has impacted us financially of course. On top of all that our dog is dying of prostate cancer. I won't be sorry to say good-bye to 2014 come New Year's Eve.........
I'll look forward to hearing all about the reunion from the those who will be attending!

Jeanne, I'm so sorry!! I hope things get better for you soon! And I'm very sorry about your dog. I am an animal lover myself and I lost my 17 year-old kitty a few weeks ago. I still have her 18.5 year old mother and I'm doing my best to take good care of her so I can enjoy every minute possible with her.

Thanks so much for your kind thoughts PatriciaAnne...and I'm so sorry you lost your kitty. It's awful losing pets, it leaves such a huge hole in your life. We are doing the same as you are...trying to enjoy every minute we have left and spending time doing the things he's always loved. The best we can do for our pets is make them as happy as possible and letting them gently go when it's that time.

Sorry to hear about your family issues and all. My nearly 15 year old cat died of liver cancer so I fully understand about your dog. They are so much a part of your family. Here's to things looking up for you sooner than 2015.

I'll look forward to hearing all about the reunion from the those who will be attending! I am so sorry about all your troubles. Doesn't it always seem to come in big bunches? We had a cat that lived for 19 years. He was a bit senile at the end and could not hold his urine. My daughter got Talon before she started kindergarten and he lived until she was about to graduate college. We also lost two dog the same year. They were brother and sister. One to cancer and the other when arthritis in his neck caused his neck to snap and he was paralyzed from the neck down. He was fine one minute, started to stumble, and then could only lift his head. I was beyond crushed as I loved that dog so much. I cried for two years whenever I thought of him. Still miss him very much. When Seti died, his sister would look for him and then get a sad look on her face. Tara died not long after. She had lost her will to live.

I am trying to catch up on all the reunion news tonight. I got so far behind working for weeks and weeks co-chairing my annual alumni banquet and haven't been on. So glad it's behind me so I can focus on other matters now! It's great to see so many from the forum attending. Carolyn is the only one on the list I have met before, so I am looking forward to meeting many new Walton's friends. Thanks for posting the list, ForeverWaltons!

Kimberly, with the exception of Jan, is your list still good ? (I haven't seen any posts from Heather, timetraveler, emeraldcity, or Dagmar lately.... )
Just curious....
