I had the TV on today---had Daniel Boone on in the background. When it was over, Love Boat came on. Lo and behold there's Erin Walton and Almonzo Wilder boarding the ship as newlyweds. That deserved a double take.

That deserved a double take. I just finished reading her book (Mary McDonough's). I really enjoyed it. Quite an insight. She said she's still very good friends with Alison Arngrim (Nellie, hope I spelled her name correctly). She was also friends with Melissa Gilbert I think (when she was dating Rob Lowe) but not sure she's still close with her. And I believe she's worked with Melissa Sue Anderson.

Lynn Hamilton "Verdie" on Gunsmoke again 1969 "The Good Samaritans". Now I could kick myself!! An hour before the episode came on, I pressed the info button and it said former slaves help an injured Matt Dillon. I was going to watch it but got involved in other things with my foreverettes. If it had said that Lynn Hamilton was starring in it, I definitely would have watched it. It only listed Brock Peters (To Kill A Mockingbird) as a guest star.

I was watching Batman on IFC today, and I saw two Walton's cast members. First was Grandma, sitting in Comissoner Gordon's office. Then IU spotted the second cast member(sort of). On a side wall, hung the portrait of Judge Baldwin from The Homecoming. I've spotted this portrait in several other movies over the years. I wonder where it is now?

Been watching Charlie's Angels first season and David Huddleston (AJ Covington) played a bad sheriff, Robert Donner (Yancy) played a bad man, and Nora Marlowe (Flossie) was a nurse. 3 different episodes on season 1 of Charlie's Angels.

I can't pick out the actors half the time, so I'm amazed at you being able to pick out the portrait. That's great. Would love to see that for myself. Do you (or anyone) recall where else you've seen it?

I saw Ellen the other day on The Andy Griffith Show. She plays a little old widow who defrauds Barney by selling him a clunker of a car. She was 49 when she made that episode--2 years younger than I am now. Holy smokes! I can assure you I don't look like a little old lady.

I caught the end of In Cold Blood (1967) last night, and Will Geer shows up as the prosecuting attorney, looking much younger than we're used to. Here he's a law-and-order guy who wants these murderers to hang. Interesting, as the actor was a flaming liberal who probably disapproved of capital punishment. But that's acting for you.
