I just watched the Waltons interview on GMA, I thought it was a little brief, but I loved the emotion shown by everyone, especially Michael Learned. I did think it was too bad that Earl Hamner didn't get to say anything though.
Please see the link which PLP927 posted under the Title Waltons Videos, Interviews etc. below. Thanks so much. And here I sat through all those commercials just to see it. I should have known that one of The Forum's techno wizards would post a link!

PLP92 posted the link to the interview in the video section of this forum. (Thank you!) I thought is wasn't near long enough! This wasn't a three person show... they should've allowed more time for everyone to say something! (I feel cheated) What they did show was touching and wonderful! The entire viewing audience would have loved and applauded the showing of the whole interview. |

My post came out strange...it took part of someone else's words! What I said was that I was very disappointed to see the interview cut down to a few short minutes, when I know the actual interview was over an hour long. That is part of why I don't watch GMA anymore. I think it's turned into a very superficial show and I've seen them cut important interviews short way too many times. Would love to see an hour long Special with the cast of The Walton's. They all looked wonderful!

I saw the post of the interview and Im not surprised it was only 5 minutes It's one segment in a two hour show and the show isn't all dedicated to the Walton's and everyone looked great, David Harper in a Dallas Cowboys uniform lol oh well showing his sports love. Anyway it was a nice interview. Why wasn't Mr Haner/ Earl Hamner invited as. Well. Anyway well done and great to see. Wm Fan Sportwriter. |

Oh Im sorry Carol. I didn't see Earl Hamner, but I only watched the interview briefly once. Sorry I missed it. I guess I got blinded by David Harpers Cowboys jersey lol, the sports fan in me I notice those things lol. Anyway it was a great interview and too bad it wasn't on an hour talk show where they had more time to speak . WMFan |

I followed the video link and was able to watch the interview. we don't get GMA in Australia so it was wonderful to have the link and be able to view it. I loved seeing them all together - they really do seem to have a special relationship that has lasted all the years since the show was made.

Is it just me... or is Judy's picture pasted into the above photo? Judy was definitely in attendance... Jon Walmsley's video showed that. If anything, perhaps they couldn't get the "perfect" shot, so Judy was inserted from another photo into the final image. I'm just not sure... nedandres. jirjr posted a link to the GMA interview on October 18th in the Thread Waltons To Be Featured in Entertainment Weekly. It's on the 3rd page. Can you open that? You may have already seen it by now.
