He was Erin's husband. sdw......I went "looking" for Morgan Stevens last summer when they announced the Waltons reunions. The only thing I could find out was that in 1989 he had been a victim of police brutality & right after that he just quit acting & seems to have fallen off the grid. For the most part, I was never attracted to blonde men.....but Morgan Stevens was an exception. He was very nice looking. I would like to see what he looks like today.

In imdb, it shows that Stevens had about seven parts prior to The Waltons, and over 90 afterwards!! -- the last being in 1999.... I couldn't find anything about a mugging (?) -- but did see that he sued the city of Los Angeles for police brutality in 1991, pursuant to a minor traffic accident in 1989 -- and settled out of court. He may well have "soured" on the Hollywood scene at that point, but did continue acting for another ten years. Born in 1951, he seems to have "retired" from acting in 1999, at age 48.... Lucky him ... It's not always an easy life. Hopefully, he is now overseeing his ranch, riding his horses, tending some grapes -- somewhere !!

Morgan Stevens had another role on The Waltons. He was the patient Sam Stadder in the next bed in the episode The Waiting S8 Ep 10 where John Boy was in a coma after his plane was shot down. The episode that introduced Robert Wightman.

Yes, I noticed him in the John-Boy hospital episode. Peggy Rea also surfaced pre-Rose as the landlady in the episode when Mary Ellen and Erin move into an apartment in the city. That kind of thing happens often in TV series when actors are used in different roles.
