Hello everyone, Proboards has been sending me messages for several months about a forum upgrade, messages which I have been ignoring for the most part. Well, apparently the upgrade is here. I am as surprised as anyone else, because I was told that the forum would look just like it always has, and as you can see, it doesn't! I will work on it when I have some time, and try to make it familiar looking to you again. In the meantime, please continue to participate. There are supposed to be some improvements in how the forum works. I haven't found them yet, but I will keep looking. Thanks in advance for your patience. Brenda

It looks sooo different. To be honest I like it the old way (just my opinion). But I could get used to this.

I like it better the old way, too. I'm still trying to get things back to normal. Please be patient.

Nobody likes change when we are comfortable, but it won't be long and the new look will be comfortable too!

At least now we are able to edit our fonts... the option was there before, but it didn't work!

It looks good when you are new here. But for us who have been on this forum for years it is difficult to find everything. I hope we will get used to it .

The forum looks different, but the way it works is about the same. The navigation tools at the top are still there. You can click on "Recent" to see the most recently updated threads. All of your messages, signatures (Keepers) are still there. One new feature I've found is that you can "like" a post, similar to facebook. I'm sure there are other new features that we will discover as we go along

So often there has been a remark here that I wanted to 'like'.. and now I can!

Okay, everyone, here is your assignment:
When you find some new feature, share it in this thread. That will help everyone get acclimated to the new forum.
Thanks!

I had to reset my password because it wouldn't accept the one I was using.

Message for Brenda Brenda I have lost all my messages now, can you reinstate them for me as the board did not recognise Champlain? Regards Champlain You had to create a whole new profile? I'm so sorry, but the answer is no. I don't have access to anyone's messages or private information.. Are you sure you used the correct password? Or if you forgot it, did it give you an option to reset it or anything like that? You should be able to log in under your old account.

I thought my computer had gone crazy when I came to the site. I do not like what they have done! But if nothing can be done, then I will have to live with it.
How do you send a PM to anyone now? Am I overlooking it?
