Happy New Year everyone! This is my first post here and I am really excited. I hope I don't bloop! I recently learned that there was a Waltons TV broadcast in 2010 and it was titled "Elizabeth and Drew Wedding" (I think) Is this correct? If so, I sure would love to have the movie produced in a DVD format. Does anyone know anything about this? Thanks, Frieda
Hi Frieda........I think whoever told you about the broadcast made have been confused by a video that was posted on You Tube just over 2 years ago (which would have made it 2010)
If you search You Tube for "The Waltons - Elizabeth and Drew Wedding" you will see an advertised video entitled Elizabeth and Drew Wedding presented by Simply The Best Weddings
It's has nothing to do with their wedding and is basically just a plug for Simply the Best Weddings company. If you read the comments after the video you will see how loads of people were "fooled" into watching it.
• Hi • Thanks for your comments. I did some more sleuthing and made a startling discovery! • INSP-TV aired a 30-years ‘Walton Reunion’ special in the fall of 2010. I don’t get INSP so I missed it. Maybe some of the fans here were lucky enough to watch it. It seems that this TV station airs the 60-minute episode every once in a while. I’m now trying to locate other TV stations that might have shown it. I sure goofed about Elizabeth and Drew. What happened was that YouTube did a brief feature video on the Reunion piece on their website and on the same page, it listed a 7-minute video entitled “Elizabeth and Drew Wedding.” Turned out that the clip shown for it was mere advertising for a Wedding Planning company! There was a lot of nasty feedback about this as it misled many people to think that there was going to be a TV special devoted to Elizabeth and Drew’s Wedding. Sure would have been nice though. Oh, well…..
