I definitly think that The Changeling is the creepiest episode and also The Ferris Wheel was a bit creepy as well.

The Grandchild, The Conflict, The Love Story and the Changeling and Portrait. For different reasons these are some of my least favorite episodes and give me the creeps lol. wm sportwriter The Love Story? Is that supposed to say The Ghost Story? If not, please explain why this episode gives you the creeps! Is it because of the scenes with the abandoned house at the start?

Creeps isn't the right word. The Love Story is too sappy with the John and Jenny romance that doesn't go anywhere more than the Thanksgiving episode the next season, and it's nothing really to begin with a love story the love story doesn't really go anywhere I said.. And John Boy's hideous singing at the end of the episode sorry John and Jenny lovers well that gives me the creeps or want to hurl lol. Oh well those are my thoughts. I ddn't mention The Tempest or Whirlwind which belong in a category by themselves Ha ha.wm fan sportwriter

"And John Boy's hideous singing at the end of the episode" His singing is not that bad for the genre of Mountain Music.

John-Boy's singing didn't bother me, but that sappy relationship did. I have tried to allow slack because of his highly creative personality/role -- and more because of Richard's real-time relationship with Sian -- but YUK !! Definitely creeped me out

When the OP said Creepy, didn't they mean more of a scary, paranormal type creepy, not socially challenged creepy?

Well then, who is the most socially challenged (creepy) character on the Waltons?
For me, I think that the guy who was going to marry Marcia Wollery was the creepiest. Really not that many to chose from.

Heh I guess this is a nice new direction for the thread, since Halloween is over. Wmfan, I actually like The Love Story myself, though I can see why you dislike it. And, regarding John-Boy's singing: he's already an excllent writer, news presenter, journalist, lawyer, boxing coach, horse racer, dancer, detective, teacher, student, librarian and editor... maybe he just never got around to learning how to sing (or ride the motorcycle). And Scarlett, creepiest character? I might agree with you on that, I watched that episode the other day!

:oOk John Boy's singing wasn't’t horrible. Not my style and it was just a sappy relationship and maybe if it were a long time Luke and Laura love story I might have seen it differently lol!

I fast forward when he starts singing too!..... It's not that he's a horrible singer, it's just that I hate that song. I do however, enjoy the story, and the romance of the episode.

Daniela, I know if you fast forward you don't like it cause I know you like the Love Story and John and Jenny. It's just a little sappy for me and didn't develop into a long term Love Story and they are nice together just not a great love story. Almost good friends with benefits in 1930s style without the sex.. Not saying people didnt have sex then because they did but it was different. wmfan Sportwriter

I think John Boy and Jenny, had an intense relationship for two young people who lived on a mountain. I would have liked to see it turn to something more, but I think most people have a story or strong feelings about their first love. I think Jenny was a good learning curve for John Boy. I thought it was a nice love story.

You're right Daniela she was a nice first learning curve or innocent love for John Boy. I dont think it went further than that at least what we saw Wm Fan
