I thought the same thing. Why did he let it get so shabby--why did not Earl help keep the house up? Possibly because Earl had developed some "issues" as time went by -- with the town and surrounds, and some of the folks..... Still, I assume he remained close to his brother. Odd.... Hmmm.... I went back and looked at the photos again (it had been ages) and wish I had waited to reply -- because I don't see much evidence of shabbiness in the photos Everything looks pretty good to me.....

I agree...I spoke w someone who knows Earl personally, they told me that the town had given JimBob a real hard time and had kicked him offf the committee at the museum and that Earl has nothing to do w THAT museum anymore and has pulled out alot of his stuff
