Johnny Cash playing with Jason at the Dew Drop Inn. Farrah Fawcett would have been a nice prom date for John Boy.

Randolph Mantooth pinch-hitted on "As The World Turns" as Hal Munson while Benjamin Hendrickson was out sick back in the 90s(?). I haven't thought of him in years.

Johnny Cash playing with Jason at the Dew Drop Inn. Farrah Fawcett would have been a nice prom date for John Boy. Farrah Fawcett looked similar to Abby Dalton in the Test I thought. I think she might have been a little fancy for John Boy. I think one of the other Angels Kate Jackson or Jaclyn Smith might have looked a little more the part of the Mountain nothing against Farrah Fawcett. RIP Johnny Cash would have been a great addition and Merle Haggard did a great job as the second Red Turner in the Comeback. Best wishes waltonsportwriter And thanks so much for your continued comments on this post. I dont think I've had many with more feedback than this one but we know conversation just keeps going on here. Talk soon.

..and going...
I'd like to add another: Mary Lou Retton(!) Remember that former Olympic gymnast? I do. I also remember her "It's Supercharge!!" battery commercials.
She could portray a linesman for the local electric company...turning off the Waltons' electricity.

She was also from West Virginia so she would do good in the mountainland! ;D
