what part did richard play in 12 angry men? Was it The Henry Fonda part? I bet he rocked that part. That's a good play/movie

It was a broadway show and yes he play exactly what Henry Fonda did in the movie.

Well, I looked it up -- you knew I would. The history of 12 Angry Men doesn't go back as far as I'd thought and it didn't come to Broadway for over fifty years !!!
It was conceived as a TV play in 1954 on CBS. Then that wonderful motion picture was made in 1957. The Roundabout Theatre group (an interesting not-for-profit organization) brought it to Broadway in Oct 2004 -- it ran 32 weeks, not bad..... Richard was not in the cast for the Broadway run.
In 2006 the same Roundabout org. decided to put together a tour group, which they did starting in Sept 2006 -- it went to about 30 cities. This is the cast Richard Thomas was in..... And, yes, he did occupy the coveted 8th juror spot..... and is said to have "made it his own" and not simply copied Henry Fonda.....
It's not hard to picture Richard in that role is it?
