As time goes by I get more and more excited. I have added a stop by Seaside (if it's not grossly far away) to meet Michael Nesmith, my first love. And of course I'm gonna go check out Hollywood a bit.
Carolyn, this goes without saying but if there is ANY way you could get Richard to do the reunion, you would be my favorite person EVER on the planet. Please? ;D
Can't wait!

Hello everyone! I’m new around here….My name is Susan! I’m a teacher from Kansas and absolutely love The Walton’s. If I can get away, I really want to attend the 40th anniversary reunion. Hopefully, I can make it and run into a few of you there!
I remember Watching the Walton’s while laying along the back of my parents couch, similar to sitting on the arm of a chair only the back of a couch. I can remember watching when I was as young as six years old. I would say I’m a few years younger than Kami Cotler (Elizabeth Walton). For this reason, I really identified with the Elizabeth character growing up. I even have a lot of freckles and reddish brown hair. With the only difference being, I grew up as a tom-boy and was the oldest in my family. In these respects, I always identified with the Mary Ellen (Judy Norton) character.
When my mom calls and I inform her I can’t speak, because I’m watching an episode of the Walton’s or Little House on The Prairie. She always sighs (I can hear her eyes roll over the phone.) and says “You used to love that show as a kid….you still watch that….haven’t you seen every episode by now?” My reply is usually, “Yes! But this is the episode were………."

I was thinking that L.A. is only about a two-hour drive from Palm Desert .... how great would it be to head out early Sunday morning to catch Ralph preaching at his church, Spirit of The Desert Presbyterian Fellowship......
Now, that would be the best part of the trip for me !

One more official request here - Robert Wightman?
I want him to know there are Waltons fans who love and appreciate him even though Richard gets most of the accolades.
It's gonna be a great weekend in CA!

I messaged Carolyn this morning, but figured I'd post here too, my plans to attend this year have recently fallen through and I'll be uable to make it this year like I'd hoped. I would have to RSVP by August 30th to gaurantee a spot and unfortunately their's no option of a refund on the dinner reservaton after that, and I wouldn't know if I could 100% make it until the week of the reunion due to my work schedule. so I'd be out the money if I ended up having to work that weekend. But I'm hoping all of you that are attending have a blast and please take lots of photos and videos!! ;D And say 'Hi!' to Carolyn and the cast for me! ;D RYAN-J
