I was watching The Waltons today and they showed a good scene of the old car that the Baldwin sisters drove. I could see the emblem on the radiator but could not make out for sure what it said. I know the old cars was discussed earlier on the forum and no one new what kind of car they drove. The emblem almost looked like Studebaker but I could'nt tell for sure. Did anybody ever figure out what kind of car it was?

Isn't it fun to see some of those old cars today? I enjoy looking for the ones that were on The Waltons. Does anyone remember all of the ones they have used? I am sure someone here does!

These have been mentioned on the old forum site, but for those who haven't seen it there, here are the cars that I know were used on The Waltons: 1928 Model AA Ford 1 and a half ton pickup truck (John's truck) 1929/30 Ford Model A Coupe (John-Boy's car) 1926? Ford Model T (Jim-Bob's one-piece-at-a-time car!) 1939/40 Ford convertible (Cindy's car) 1932 Ford Model B Sedan Delivery (Curt's car. Mary Ellen called it a van) 1941 Plymouth Woody Station Wagon (the "new" family car used later on) As far as I can tell, the Baldwin's sister car is a 1920's Studebaker, but I don't know the exact vintage. Also, not sure about Sheriff Ep Bridge's first "touring" car, but I think it's a Cadillac convertible. I'm sure some other old car buffs can add or make corrections to this.

Hi Cinlou- You're thinking of JohnV, a very knowledgeable guy who does live in Alaska. I'm in Central Arizona, where it's not quite as hot as Phoenix, nor as chilly as Alaska!!

Hello new to the forum. Were the company who built the car's for this show. The car that the sister's drove was a 1937 packard 210 midnight blue The model T logging truck was a 1914 ford T that is the same truck used in the opening of Indiana jones and the last crusade "the third move" If you go to the web site and look under the picture car tab there is a shot of the mail truck the packard in the back ground it is in one of the pictures from hardcastle and mccormick when the car was being built. here is a link to the site....Enjoy uniquemoviecarslasvegas.com

Alvira Drummond's car still makes me drool. I think it is a '25 Cadillac.
