Who is your favorite supporting character,..Ike, Corabeth, Baldwins, Yancy, etc?
I have to say Corabeth is my absolute favorite. Ronnie has stated Earl loved her character and she really added some fun to the show. I will never forget her tender side..remember when Ben did not have enough money to pay for Mary Ellen's weeding gift and Corabeth said " I do believe Mr. godsend made an error" and Ben told her he regretted saying things about her..smile.

For me it's a toss-up between Ike and Cora Beth. Ike was there first so he gets a few extra points.

Cora Beth- Ronnie is an unbelievable actress, I LOVED Yancy, he was such comic relief, and of course the Baldwin sisters, they were adorable. I would have to say in that order.

I liked Verdie. The way she played the stregth of her character was great and she always did it with such beauty and grace so I liked her. Ike was just a great guy too as well. wmfan

Wow tough one...they are all so good and I couldn't imagine the series without them. I just can't decide.

That's a very hard question! It could be Curt (before he 'died' anyway), Ike or the Baldwins. But I don't think I dislike any character in the Waltons (I do get a bit annoyed with Rose and her grandchildren at times, but I still think they're a welcome addition!)

While they are all good we need to remember Stanley Perkins as well.

This question puts me on the spot. Each of those characters mentioned add salt to the stew. Although set in rural America, they each add a cosmopolitan feel to the show. While the program focuses on a family, it is also about a community - and all of us live in community and hopefully have friends who add spice to our lives as these characters did for the Waltons. I enjoy each one and consider each a friend.

I loved them all, I think the show had great supporting characters. But, I would have to say that for me it's a toss up between CoraBeth and Yancy.

I'm watching through The Waltons for the second time. The first time round I somehow missed the gossipy side of Corabeth! I don't know how!

Ike but I don't think of him as a supporting character as he was in almost every episode so I would say Yancy or the Baldwins

AR15, the second time? You're going to have a blast because now you start seeing cool things you missed first time around. I'm on my 7th or 8th time and am STILL noticing new things!
