Today I rewatched both The Love Story and The Thanksgiving Story (both the episodes with Jenny Pendleton). In The Thanksgiving Stoy there's a brief mention that Jenny would be going to a college which was 'just across the lake' from the one which John-Boy would be going to. I wonder if this was done as a piece of foreshadowing to what they had planned as her third appearance? Because I know that the actor who played her (I forget her nam ) stopped acting so I wonder if they actually had future episodes with her planned but which were never made due to the actor being unavailable?

I wish they had pursued that relationship further in the show. I believe Sian and Richard had a relationship in real life. Don't remember the dates of that relationship or where I read that. I wonder if they broke up in real life and Sian did not want to see him again (or work with him). Maybe it was a painful breakup???

imdb confirms that Richard and Sian did in fact date for quite a while in the 70's.
I found this quote from her on another website:
"About Me I'm a creative/visual thinker who occasionally writes to understand things differently. I used to be a film and television actor and for that reason I choose to use a pen name at times. I studied poetry at Antioch College, my mentor is Ed Frankel. I've been published (diff. pen names ) in print magazines in the 1980s. My most recent work appeared in Press One, edited by Arlene Ang, as Sian Allen.
I've acted in film, on stage, and currently write. To the best of my knowledge, I was the only woman ever to write an episode for the 1970’s TV show, Baretta, having submitted the script without my entire name on it. That episode, entitled “Just for Laughs,” starred the great Ray Bolger.
I have a close sister who writes (Meg Pokrass).
I am computerless (yes, I live like a zen monk but borrow others computers and that is ENOUGH TECHNOLOGY THANK YOU)."
Oh, imdb also reports that she married, had a daughter, and lives in southern CA....

I wonder if a you tube is available for this 1970 episode of Baretta. Ray Bolger earned his fame in The Wizard of Oz so anything in which he appeared would have attracted an audience and been recalled for a long time, Hoever since I was not a fan of Baretta(It was later listed as one of the shows that contained the most violence(the top of the list was Baa Baa Black Sheep and Hawail 5-O)

That's an interesting idea, I think I had heard before about their relationship, but this had never occured to me.
