i have been trying to look up info about the reunion in new jersey, but cant find the info i am looking for. since a few of you on here seem to know alot (and you know more about how to navigate the web! lol) can anyone tell me what goes on at this event? do the people that attend get to meet the cast, or are they in an audience watching the cast on a stage? i guess what i mean is, is it kind of 'all one family party', where us ordinary folk can walk up to the cast and talk to them? thanks! Ryan, you know i am counting on you! i am in another battle with my thyroid problem. i am hoping it is not cancer again, and i sure would like to meet the walton cast if i could! just saying, if i had to pick a 'last thing i want to do', it would be meet as many of the walton cast as i could, inclduing richard thomas, of course! and earl hamner, also

Hey Amy!! According to my friend There is a meet and greet during the event--- it is not a formal autograph session persay but kind of like the Reunion dinner last year where their will be a time to mingle get photos taken with and stuff signed... Also there is a sponsorship opportunity if you are interested which includes 2 tickets to the event- backstage private meet and greet and photo with entire cast of attendees etc...That costs $300 though and is good for TWO people and includes access to a private dinner on thursday night for two people as well. Hope that helps! RYAN-J

Hello everyone. This is Ray Castro the event coordinator for " The Waltons Homecoming 40th Anniversary Reunion " December 2, 2011 at The Legendary Loews Jersey Theatre.I see that some fans have a few questions regarding the reunion. There will be a casual meet & greet Prior to the screening of " The Homecoming". There will NOT be a traditional autograph session at this event. after the screening, the program will consist of a discussion panel with the cast and a Q&A with the fans and that will be followed by a special performance. Tickets to the event are $20.00 and tickets are general admission. There is also a sponsorship package of $300.00 that includes two tickets in the reserved seating up front, back stage passes with a photo op with the entire cast, a signed Homecoming Soundtrack and an invite to the sponsorship lunch/dinner with the cast. For more information regarding the event and sponsorship please visit out website at www.waltonshomecoming40th.com I will be at the Lynchburg reunion with information flyers and ticket sales. Hope this helps clear things up. Looking forward to seeing you all there.

I'll only be able to attend the one in VA this year, but a friend of mine will be attending the NJ one, since he only lives like 1 hour from that location! he'll also be at the VA one too. RYAN-J

i have been looking up travel packages, and to my surprise, some are cheap! all i need is my flight and hotel, i dont eat much, and if it means meeting the cast, i wont need to eat til i get back home lol. two big problems for me. 1 i have to schedule everything just right, i run a very small animal shelter (out of my home, just me and a friend, we do not ask for donations or anything like that, no license, just alot of cats that need GOOD HOMES! and 2 i am terrified. i have never been anywhere by myself, i am country dumb. the hotels i am looking at are close to the theatre, but i am afraid even if my hotel is one to three miles from the theatre, i will not be able to get a cab, or bus or whatever to get to the theatre. a few health problems, nothing major, prevent me from walking very far at a time. it is he** getting old!

Those of you who only need one ticket can combine together to buy one package--- it doesnt have to be a husband wife... brother sister -- any relation- its just the package includes two tickets...

I would love to split the cost with someone. We could just meet in NJ or somewhere else and travel together. Whatever works. Let me know.

The $20 tickets can be purchased right on line -- with PayPal or credit card.... just check out their website. Also, they have a block of hotel rooms at $83 which is unbelievably cheap for the area.....

I have a question where is the $300.00 payment info to buy them? I am awaiting an answer from the website. But if I can get an answer quicker here that would help.
