What happened to John Curtis in two hour movie where Mary Ellen had two children, Clay and a daughter who must have been adopted as she was unable to bear children with Jonsy. There was no mention of John Curtis.

What happened to Bobbie Bigalow, what happened to Yancy Tucker, what happened too....
None of us have a clue. There seems to be a black hole on Walton's Mountain. Someone needs to write a book on the secrets of Waltons citizens to explain where they all went.

I agree with Batty. Charlie disappeared as well. Weird that Ike and Corabeth weren't in A Walton Easter. He was mentioned, but neither of them were in the special.Seems like alot of characters went missing.

I think it is obvious that when it came time for Walton reunions John Curtis found work somewhere away from the mountain. Pehaps there was no room to put Ike and Corabeth in a scene on Waltons Easter.

I venture a guess that the actors were not available and the producers did not want other actors to play the parts. Just a guess. It does not do the continuity of the series any good, but that's show biz! Like Jason and Toni. In the final episodes of the regular show, Toni was in it once. Then in one of the movies, I forget which one, there is Jason and Toni married with 6 or 7 children!

Toni was also in several episodes during seasons 8 and 9.

Toni appeared in one episode in season 8, called "The Remembrance", but in more episodes in season 9, but her last episode she appeared in season 9 was "The Beginning". And she was indeed in the final 3 Walton reunion specials. I don't know why her character didn't appear in more, but she was in more often in season 9. Too bad we didn't get to see her and Jason get married in one of the reunion movies. They had 4 or 5 children not 7.

They got a different actor for John-Boy. Richard Thomas was WAY better. The second one was all wooden and stupid and not John-Boy and I cried when I first saw him.

Oh, yes they got an new actor for John Boy, and for Curt in that ridiculous episode where he came back from the dead!. Most producers DO think that replacing an established actor in a part is not worth it. Been there done that! Any other problems?

I don't think JB's replacement was stupid... he was just different. It didn't really work, but no doubt the producers didn't have a choice. I'm sure if they could have gotten RT back, they would have.

Since they brought Curt back from the dead, maybe they thought they could just erase a character. I guess if they never mention someone, they don't exist anymore.

Replacing RT ranks up there with the Beatles breaking up and is almost holy. ;D
